The fall brought mortality and physical death, not a sinful nature. L.D.S. believes Adam was given two conflicting commands and was supposed to fall.
"According to the foreordained plan, Adam was to fall;...Adam was to introduce mortality and all that attends it, so that the opportunity for eternal progression and perfection might be offered to all the spirit children of the Father."

Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
