"NOW IS THE HOUR."
I. FOR THE TIME IS COME WHEN JUDGMENT MUST BEGIN AT THE HOUSE OF GOD.
A. Worship has become a "form of Godliness."
B. Recent church member survey:
10% never attend church.
40% never give to any cause.
50% never go to Sunday school.
60% never go to Sunday night services.
70% never give to missions.
75% never engage in any church activity.
80% never attend prayer meetings.
90% never have family worship.
95% never win a soul to Christ.
C. "Every man's work shall be tried to see of what sort."
1. The motive for our works.
II. THE RIGHTEOUS (SCARCELY) BE SAVED (WITH DIFFICULTY).
A. Salvation takes a miracle of God.
1. "How hard for a rich man to enter."
2. "Who then can be saved?"
3. With man this is impossible.
B. To receive simply the faith in Christ to resist the attacks of Satan.
To mortify deeds of flesh.
III. WHERE SHALL THE UNGODLY AND SINNER APPEAR?
A. The mere professor?
B. The ungodly and sinner?
