"IF SO, WHAT THEN?"
I. TOO MANY PRONE TO TAKE SALVATION FOR GRANTED.
A. Peter after hearing discourse of Christ was startled to find out how wrong he was. "Who then can be saved?" Christ answered, "With man impossible."
1. Salvation impossible as far as you're concerned.
2. It takes a miracle.
B. How are you saved?
1. By faith in Christ.
2. "Faith size of grain of mustard seed will move mountains."
a. How do you know; if you haven't enough faith to move mountains than do you have enough for salvation?
C. How do you know you are saved?
1. Spirit bears witness with our spirit.
2. How do you know it isn't a deceiving spirit of Satan? (angel of light) "In the last days, Satan shall bring a strong delusion, believe a lie rather than truth."
3. Satan has many thousands fooled today, maybe you're one.
D. How do you know you're saved, especially if you don't have the signs Christ said you would have if you really were.
E. You say salvation is merely believing?
1. Yes so, and is everything else spiritual.
a. Daily bread.
b. Healing.
c. Miracles.
If you can't believe God for temporal things, how can you for eternal?
