I. THE SETTING.
A. Israel must be re-gathered into her land.
1. They are to be one nation not two.
2. They are to build the waste places.
3. They are to plant the desolate places.
4. They are to reap excellent crops.
II. THE FOES.
A. Magog the chief foe. (that land north of the...)
1. The chief prince of Mesbrech and Tubal.
B. Gomer - (Eastern portion of Germany and Poland).
C. Togarmah - (Balkan states - Hungary, Czechoslovakia Yugoslavia. (Read paper).
D. Persia, Libya, Ethiopia.
Verse 9. - "Come like a storm, like a cloud to cover the
Land, all thy bands and many people with thee."
E. Stamp issued in Russia.
III. THE MOTIVES.
A. To take a spoil - (to force Israel to return the land taken).
1. To gain these vital oil supplies.
2. To gain vital warm water ports.
3. To gain strategic advantage.
IV. THE SUPPORTERS OF ISRAEL.
A. Sheba and Dedan.
B. Merchants of Tarshish and Young lions.
C. Type of support. "Shall say unto thee..." File protest in United Nations Security Council.
V. THE RESULTS OF INVASION.
A. God will strike Israel's foes.
1. Great earthquake (Mountains will be leveled).
2. Internal revolution (Every man's sword against his brother).
3. Pestilence.
4. Flood and great hailstones.
5. Fire and brimstone.
B. 5/6 of invading force destroyed.
1. Seven months burying dead.
2. Seven years burning equipment.
VI. THE TIME OF THIS BATTLE.
A. The latter years. (vs. 8)
B. The latter days. (vs. 16)
C. God's acceptance of Israel. Means a departure of the Church.
