SPIRITUAL SATISFACTION
I. A WONDERFUL THING TO BE SATISFIED.
A. True (Dissatisfaction has caused much trouble).
1. A person dissatisfied with his ability to earn money.
a. Lies or cheats.
b. Ill gotten gain never satisfies.
2. Countries dissatisfied with boundaries.
B. Paul "I have learned in whatsoever state..."
1. Reference here to physical state.
2. Spiritually - "Forgetting those things behind."
II. PHYSICAL SATISFACTION.
A. Should not take much to satisfy a Christian.
1. Strangers and Pilgrims.
2. "Having Food and raiment."
III. SPIRITUAL SATISFACTION.
A. A deadly thing.
B. Some satisfied when filled.
1. Tarried until & never since.
2. "I've attained!" "I've got it!"
3. Some Methodists who have never spoken in tongues got to heaven before.
C. Psalmist - "When I awake in thy likeness..."
1. "Beloved now are we the Son's of God."
