I. THE WORD TRANSLATED ANGEL-AETOS-EAGLE SINAITICUS ARREDOS-ANGEL. ALEXANDRINUS. VATICATUIS.
A. The word eagle means other than bird.
3. Christ the (slain body).
a. Saints, the eagle.
b. John 6:53-55, "Whoso eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life."
c. Holy sacrament.
4. Youth renewed as eagle's. Ps. 103:5. "Mount up with wings as eagles." Isa. 40:31.
B. All saints not eagle saints - kinds of birds.
1. Eagles are great watchers.
2. Eagles have elevated aspirations and instincts, "In the heavenlies."
3. Eagles are strong.
C. Eagles have voices - intelligence, and a place in heaven.
D. Saints to have part in judgment. I Cor. 6:2.
II. FALLEN STAR - NOT A METEOR LIKE THIRD TRUMPET.
A. Intelligent agent.
1. Key given to him.
2. Uses the key.
B. Morning stars sang together. Job 38:4-7.
C. Orders & degrees among angels.
1. Now free access to heavens - to be cast out. "Prince of the powers of the air."
D. "Given unto him the key." God allows them to go so far as with Job.
E. Job 37:17. "Have the gates of hell been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?"
1. Demons pleaded not to be sent to the abyss.
F. The creatures emitted by the opening of this shaft.
1. Satanic cherubims.
a. Horse-lion-scorpion-man. Lion-calf-man-eagle.
2. Power limited.
3. Exercise intelligent demands. a. Apollyon-destroyer; opposite of savior.
