What Should Be The Response Of The Believer For What God Has Done For Us?
Because of what God has done for us in the person of Jesus Christ we ought to respond in a couple of different ways.

Give Our Life To Christ In Service

First, our life should be given to Christ for His service. The Bible says:

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:1,2).

It is only reasonable or natural to give our life to Christ for the things He has done on our behalf. He has done everything for on our behalf, all He asks of us is to serve Him. This is certainly a reasonable request.

Praise, Prayer And Worship

Realizing what Christ has done on our behalf, the believer should be engaged in continual praise, prayer, and worship. The Apostle Paul encouraged the church at Thessalonica to do the following:

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

Summary

Continual joy, constant prayer, and the giving of thanks, is part of what the believer should be doing These things should characterize the life of the believer because of what the Lord Jesus has done for us.
