Generally, Christians fall into several categories when it comes to knowing God's plan for them.
1.Some Are Unconcerned
Some Christians are unconcerned about knowing the will of God. Though they have trusted Christ as their Savior He is not the highest priority in their life. They let other distractions get in the way of finding God's best for them. This type of person will never be happy until they surrender themselves to the Lord to know what He wants for them.
2.Unwilling To Pay Price
Other Christians want to know what God has for them, but they are unwilling to pay the price to know His will. They want all that God has for them, but they want it the easy way. The Bible says Jesus encountered people like this. When called to follow Jesus, one man responded with an excuse:
On another occasion Jesus compared the call to discipleship to a great supper.
3.Want To Know And Will Take Steps
Finally there are those believers who do want to know God's will and are willing to take the steps to know. There is, however, a price to pay for discipleship. Jesus said:

And another said, 'I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask you to have me excused.' Still another said, 'I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come' (Luke 14:16-20).
3.Want To Know And Will Take Steps
