This subject presented a special challenge, as there are several sets of lyrics, with different tunes, all on the subject immortalized in Psalm 42. So, we departed from our usual format to show three of these hymns on the same page. (There is a fourth variation, “As Deer Long for the Streams,” by Christopher Webber (1986), but it is unfortunately still under copyright, and thus cannot be shown here.)
