Born: December 16, 1786, Dietzingen, Würtemberg, Germany.

Died: March 12, 1872, Stuttgart, Germany.

Kocher studied piano and composition in St. Petersburg, Russia, in the early 1800’s. He went to Italy for further study in 1819, then returned to Germany in 1820. In 1821, he founded the School of Sacred Music in Stuttgart. His works include:

  • Zionsharfe, 1855
