| At this also my heart trembles | |
| “Keep listening to the thunder of his voice | |
| “Under the whole heaven he lets it go, | |
| “After it his voice roars; | |
| “God thunders wondrously with his voice; | |
| “For to the snow he says, ‘Fall on the earth,’ | |
| “He seals up the hand of every man, | |
| “Then the beasts go into their lairs, | |
| “From its chamber comes the whirlwind, | |
| “By the breath of God ice is given, | |
| “He loads the thick cloud with moisture; | |
| “They turn around and around by his guidance, | |
| “Whether for correction or for his land | |
| “Hear this, O Job; | |
| “Do you know how God lays his command upon them | |
| “Do you know the balancings[fn2] of the clouds, | |
| “you whose garments are hot | |
| “Can you, like him, spread out the skies, | |
| “Teach us what we shall say to him; | |
| “Shall it be told him that I would speak? | |
| “And now no one looks on the light | |
| “Out of the north comes golden splendor; | |
| “The Almightywe cannot find him; | |
| “Therefore men fear him; | |
