Joel   While it is sufficiently evident that many of the variations of the names of persons have arisen from the carelessness of transcribers, or the inattention of translators, and others from a difference (probably dialectical in the pronunciation; it is also evident, that the smae persons, as in these instances, must have had two or more totally distinct names. 1Ch 6:24, Shaul, Uzziah, Uriel.
