“It shall not seem H7185 difficult H7185 for you when you set H7971 him [fn]free H2670, because H3588 he has given H5647 you six H8337 years H8141 with double H4932 the [fn]service H7939 of a hired H7916 worker H7916; so the LORD H3068 your God H430 will bless H1288 you in whatever H3605 H834 you do H6213.
Then Solomon H8010 awoke H3364, and behold H2009, it was a dream H2472. And he came H935 to Jerusalem H3389 and stood H5975 before H6440 the ark H727 of the covenant H1285 of the Lord H136, and offered H5927 burnt H5930 offerings H5930 and made H6213 peace H8002 offerings H8002, and held H6213 a feast H4960 for all H3605 his servants H5650.
“Blessed H1288 be the LORD H3068, who H834 has given H5414 rest H4496 to His people H5971 Israel H3478 in accordance with everything H3605 that He [fn]promised H1696; not one H259 word H1697 has [fn]failed H5307 of all H3605 His good H2896 [fn]promise H1697, which H834 He [fn]promised H1696 through H3027 Moses H4872 His servant H5650.
“And you, Ezra H5831, according to the wisdom H2452 of your God H426 which H1768 is in your hand H3028, appoint H4483 magistrates H8200 and judges H1782 so H1768 that H1768 they may judge H1934 H1778 all H3606 the people H5972 who H1768 are in the province beyond H5675 the Euphrates River H5103, that is, all H3606 those who know H3046 the laws H1882 of your God H426; and you may teach H3046 anyone who H1768 is H3046 ignorant H3809 H3046 of them.
“Then You performed H5414 signs H226 and wonders H4159 against Pharaoh H6547,
Against all H3605 his servants H5650 and all H3605 the people H5971 of his land H776;
For You knew H3045 that they acted H2102 arrogantly H2102 toward H5921 them,
And You made H6213 a name H8034 for Yourself as it is this H2088 day H3117.
It is the same H834 for all H3605. There is one H259 fate H4745 for the righteous H6662 and for the wicked H7563; for the good H2896, for the clean H2889 and the unclean H2931; for the person who offers H2076 a H2076 sacrifice H2076 and for the one who H834 does not sacrifice H2076. As the good H2896 person H2896 is, so is the sinner H2398; the one who swears H7650 an oath is just as the one who [fn]is afraid H3372 to swear an oath H7621.
I again H7725 saw H7200 under H8478 the sun H8121 that the race H4793 is not to the swift H7031 and the battle H4421 is not to the warriors H1368, and neither H1571 H3808 is bread H3899 to the wise H2450 nor H3808 H1571 wealth H6239 to the discerning H995, nor H3808 H1571 favor H2580 to the skillful H3045; for time H6256 and chance H6294 overtake H7136 them all H3605.
Therefore H5921 H3651 the Lord H136 does not rejoice H8055 over H8055 their young H970 men H970,
Nor H3808 does He have H7355 compassion H7355 on H7355 their [fn]orphans H3490 or their widows H490;
For every H3605 one H3605 of them is godless H2611 and an evildoer H7489,
And every H3605 mouth H6310 is speaking H1696 foolishness H5039.
In spite of all H3605 this H2088, His anger H639 does not turn H7725 away H7725,
And His hand H3027 is still H5750 stretched H5186 out H5186.
I will make H2142 mention H2142 of the mercies H2617 of the LORD H3068, and the praises H8416 of the LORD H3068,
According H5921 to all H3605 that the LORD H3068 has granted H1580 us,
And the great H7227 goodness H2898 toward the house H1004 of Israel H3478,
Which H834 He has granted H1580 them according to His compassion H7356
‘This H3541 is H3541 what H3541 the Lord H136 GOD H3068 says H559: “No H3605 H3808 foreigner H1121 H5236 uncircumcised H6189 in heart H3820 and uncircumcised H6189 in flesh H1320, of all H3605 the foreigners H1121 H5236 who H834 are among H8432 the sons H1121 of Israel H3478, shall enter H935 My sanctuary H4720.
The Lord H136 [fn]GOD H3068 has sworn H7650 by Himself H5315, the LORD H3068 God H430 of armies H6635 has declared H5002:
“I loathe H8374 the arrogance H1347 of Jacob H3290,
And [fn]detest H8130 his citadels H759;
Therefore I will give H5462 up H5462 the city H5892 and [fn]all H4393 it contains H4393.”
“So it will be when H3588 all H3605 of these H428 things H1697 have come H935 upon you, the blessing H1293 and the curse H7045 which H834 I have placed H5414 before H6440 you, and you [fn]call H7725 them to mind H3824 in all H3605 the nations H1471 where H834 H8033 the LORD H3068 your God H430 has scattered H5080 you,
Even those I will bring H935 to My holy H6944 mountain H2022,
And make H8055 them joyful H8055 in My house H1004 of prayer H8605.
Their burnt H5930 offerings H5930 and their sacrifices H2077 will be acceptable H7522 on My altar H4196;
For My house H1004 will be called H7121 a house H1004 of prayer H8605 for all H3605 the peoples H5971.”
“This H3541 is H3541 what H3541 the Lord H136 [fn]GOD H3068 says H559: ‘Clap H5221 your hands H3709, stamp H7554 your foot H7272 and say H559, “Woe H253, because H413 of all H3605 the evil H7451 abominations H8441 of the house H1004 of Israel H3478, which H834 will fall H5307 by the sword H2719, famine H7458, and plague H1698!
