  1. Spirit of Life to liberate. “The Spirit of life…hath made me free” (Romans 8:2).
  2. Spirit of God to indwell. “The Spirit of God dwell in you” (Romans 8:9).
  3. Spirit of Christ to identify. “Have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His” (Romans 8:9).
  4. Spirit of Power to raise. “The Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus” (Romans 8:11).
  5. Spirit of Might to quicken. “Quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit” (Romans 8:11).

  11. Spirit of Interpretation to make known. “The mind of the Spirit” (Romans 8:27).

* The word “spirit” which occurs in the rest of the chapter, refers to the new nature, as may be gathered from the R.V., where the term is given with a small s.
