"THE DEATH MARCH"
I. THE DEATH MARCH OF MAN.
A. Four lepers "Why sit we here?"
B. Esther "If I perish I perish."
II. CHRIST DEATH MARCH.
A. Not for self or own sins.
1. Many a man made death march for own guilt.
a. Two thieves "We receive the due reward for our deeds."
2. He was taking death march for you.
a. "All have sinned."
b. "The soul that sinneth shall surely die."
c. "The wages of sin is death."
d. "He who knew no sin became sin for us."
e. "The Lord hath laid upon Him the iniquity of us all."
B. He was deserted by most of followers.
1. A few women and John were close by.
2. He alone knew full significance of cross.
3. He alone knew of the resurrection.
III. YOUR DEATH MARCH THAT LEADS TO LIFE.
A. "He that will loose his life for my sake the same will save it."
1. To find life one must die to self.
a. As long as you try in yourself.
b. As long as you hope in self.
c. As long as you are ruled by self.
1. Abideth in death.
