"O YE OF LITTLE FAITH"
I. FINAL ARGUMENT CONCERNING PROBLEM OF ANXIOUS CARE.
A. Problem is failure to have obvious deductions.
B. Obvious lack of faith.
II. WHAT IS MEANT BY "LITTLE FAITH."
A. Not an absence of faith.
1. Amount of faith.
B. Must remember he is talking to Christian.
1. They have faith.
2. Others have no faith.
3. God is their Father.
a. Jesus Christ has only one message to the world.
C. They have saving faith and stop there.
1. His desire is that they be led into deeper faith.
a. They are robbed of so much in life.
b. They are prone to worry and be anxious.
D. Faith confined to only one phase of life - salvation.
1. Needs to extend to whole of life.
2. True faith covers entire life.
a. Christ (Heb. 11).
E. They believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, but they do not believe Him.
1. He says He will take care of our food, clothes, etc.
Yet we worry.
III. RESULTS OF LITTLE FAITH.
A. Mastered by circumstances rather than master of circumstances.
B. Why does he let things get him down?
1. He does not think.
a. Behold.
b. Consider.
2. Instead of thinking, we question.
3. Little faith does not take scripture at face value.
C. Think of:
1. His great love.
2. His concern for us.
3. His power and ability.
4. Immutable purposes of God.
