"THE SNARE OF THE FOWLER"
I. "THE SNARES OF THE FOWLER."
A. Connected with secrecy "Surely in vain is the net spread in the sight of any bird."
1. Covers his trap.
2. Beguiles the bird.
3. Piece of turf in mouth.
4. How many things look so innocent on surface.
a. What's wrong with this or that?
5. Christians more susceptible to secret sins.
a. If devil comes to door with horns showing.
B. Snare known for adaptation.
1. Different snares for different.
2. Satan knows your particular weakness.
C. Snare connected with profit or advantage Birds think they are receiving free meal.
D. Fowler sometimes employs force for example Decoy ducks.
E. When all else fails will send hawker out.
1. Satan will seek to slander.
II. THE DELIVERANCE.
A. God delivers from the snare.
1. When tempted he will warn "No temptation taken thee but is common."
2. Painter admiring painting.
3. Sometimes snare averted by trouble.
4. Sometimes deliverance by great spiritual strength Spirit of courage Joseph "How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God."
B. God also delivers "Out Of" "from" dual meaning.
1. Should we be taken captive God will deliver.
2. We know something about that net.
III. "SURELY HE SHALL" The certainty of deliverance.
A. Why?
1. He promised He would.
2. Christ died in order to defeat the enemy.
B. How many times driven to point of despair.
C. How frightful the trap.
D. How great the rejoicing in deliverance.
