    1. Give your body as an offering to God
    2. Do not follow the world in selfish living
    3. Be transformed – be renewing your mind

    1. Do not think too highly of yourself
    2. Think with sober judgment
  3. Response to the Body of Christ
    1. There is one body
    2. We are to recognize oneness – each one belongs to the other
    3. We are to acknowledge the different members
    4. Each member serves the body
    5. The matter of spiritual gifts – graces
      1. The abuses
      2. The proper use
      3. Prophesying – declaration of God’s Truth
      4. Serving
      5. Teaching
      6. Exhortation
      7. Giving
      8. Leadership – management
      9. Mercy
  4. The Exercise of Your Spiritual Gifts
    1. Use what you have
    2. Do what you enjoy
    3. Do what is obvious
    4. Think simply and humbly
    5. Begin now, do not wait for perfection
    6. Count on God’s power and authority
    7. Do not worry about naming your gifts
    8. Rejoice over the gifts of others
    9. Seek and accept the counsel of the other members
    10. Do it all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
  5. Conclusions
    1. The Holy Spirit is the giver and the administrator of gifts
    2. He is sovereign
    3. Brings gifted people to the local Church
    4. Church should be built around people, not programs
    5. Each member to serve with humility in God-given place and way
    6. No believer can have fullness of joy without exercising gifts
    7. No Church can have the fullness of power and influence without the exercise of spiritual gifts – graces
    8. The purpose – Eph 4
    9. Strong local Churches are the only hope for a righteous nation
