    1. The accounting of sin prior to the law
      1. There was no written law
      2. This did not nullify guilt – Rom 2:12
    2. The evidence of the accounting of sin prior to the law – death reigned
  3. The Certainty of Life in Christ
    1. The inevitable consequences of relation to Adam
      1. The imputation of sin
      2. Condemnation
      3. Guilt

    2. The purpose of the Law
    3. To reveal the holiness of God
    4. To reveal the degradation of sin
    5. To awaken the sinner to look to Christ
  5. The power of grace
    1. It is greater than sin
    2. Every believer is a trophy of grace
  6. The new life
    1. Its character – through righteousness
    2. Its goal – unto eternal life
    3. Its means – by Jesus Christ our Lord
      • The non-Biblical answer: man has never been perfect, but he is evolving and is moving toward perfection.
      • There is no such thing as sin – just something negative in man’s constitution. When he becomes sufficiently positive that will be the end of trouble.
      • Get rid of the idea of sin and guilt, right and wrong
