CHRIST is the Ever-living, Immutable, and Unchanging One.

  1. Christ’s eternal relationship with God. “The same was in the beginning with God” (John 1:2).
  2. Christ’s identity known by what He 999: “The same is He who baptizeth with the Holy Ghost” (John 1:33).
  3. Christ’s exaltation because of His faithful work. “God hath made that same Jesus….Lord and Christ” (Acts 2:36).
  4. Christ’s return. “This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come” (Acts 1:11).
  5. Christ’s immutability. “Thou are the same and Thy years shall not fail” (Heb. 1:12).
  6. The Holy Spirit’s Testimony. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to-day, and for ever” (Heb. 13:8).
