I. PROPHECY AGAINST TYRE.

2. "Break down thy walls."

3. "Shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water."

1. Make thee like top of rock.
2. Place to spread nets.
3. Built no more.
4. Vs. 21- though sought not to be found.

E. The testimony of history.

1. Nebuchadnezzar 13 yrs. siege.
a. He did not take spoils, because they fled to off-shore island.
2. 241 yrs. later - Alexander the Great came against city.
a. Built causeway to island from debris.
b. Scraped dust and cast it into sea.
3. Today.
a. Original site cannot be known.
b. Fishermen dry and mend their nets.
II. PROPHESY CONCERNING ISRAEL. 36:24, 34-36.
A. He would bring them back into land.
B. Desolate land shall be filled.
1. Become like garden of Eden.
C. Ruined cities to be inhabited.
D. "I the Lord have spoken it."
1. How do we know it was really God speaking?
a. If one aspect of prophecy wrong - we must conclude it was not really God speaking.
b. The amazing accuracy even to the change of pronouns.
E. "I will do it." - God's sure Word.
1. Sometimes it takes time to fulfill.
a. Alexander - 241 yrs. later.
b. Fishermen today - 25OO yrs. later.
c. 25O0 yrs. after prediction of Ezekiel
36 - Jews are fulfilling prophecy.
1. Returning to land.
2. Planting and harvesting.
3. Rebuilding wasted cities.
III. IF THIS IS INDEED "GOD'S SURE WORD..."
A. "We had better take heed to all of it."
1. "Therefore let us take the more earnest heed..."
2. Jesus said: "I am the Way,..." "I am the door to the..."
Peter - filled with the Holy Spirit said: "If we be called this day concerning the good deed..."
Jesus said: "And if I go I will come again."
The angels said: "Ye men of Galilee..."
B. There are prophecies yet to be fulfilled - horror and terrors which are coming upon the earth.
THE GLORIOUS KINGDOM AGE.
