耻辱之后必有嘲讽。一旦一个人行事可耻，嘲笑往往随之而来。嘲讽既是愚昧的征兆，也是愚昧的武器。所罗门指出，邪恶会败坏灵魂，而这种败坏常常表现为对他人的轻蔑言语。
