箴言 20:4 含义

箴言20:4描绘了一幅新的图景: “懒惰人秋天不耕种,收割的时候乞讨,却一无所有。”(第4节)所罗门带领读者走进古代以色列的农业生活,对懒惰这一恶习进行了深刻的剖析。

秋季是雨季,土地松软,适宜耕作。懒惰的人却逃避这辛苦劳作的淡季劳动,最终空手而归。大自然不会为了迁就不愿劳作的人而调整自身的节奏。

所以,到了收割的季节,他只能乞讨,一无所有。拒绝在劳作的季节辛勤劳作的人,在收获的季节也得不到救赎。这个道理不仅适用于农业,也适用于其他领域:不做好准备最终会导致日后的匮乏。
