Turning to Proverbs 15:2, Solomon contrasts the speech of the wise and the fool: The tongue of the wise makes knowledge acceptable, but the mouth of fools spouts folly (v. 2). Knowledge may be true in content, yet still need wise expression. Solomon shows that wisdom affects not only what is said, but how it is offered.
The wise make knowledge acceptable because they speak with discernment. They understand timing, tone, and proportion. Wisdom does not dump truth recklessly. It presents truth in a way fitted to the listener and the moment. That does not mean watering down reality, but stewarding it well.
Fools do the opposite. Their mouths spout folly, pouring out disorder without restraint. Instead of helping others receive truth, they spread confusion and self-display. This verse teaches that even true knowledge requires wise delivery, while foolish speech reveals that the heart has not been trained by understanding.
