The Bible Says
Proverbs 15:3 Meaning

With Proverbs 15:3, the horizon widens from human speech to divine oversight: The eyes of the LORD are in every place, watching the evil and the good (v. 3). This is a sobering and comforting truth at the same time. Nothing in human life escapes God’s sight.

The eyes of the LORD being in every place means God’s rule is not partial or distant. He is not limited to public religion or formal worship. He sees the hidden conversation, the private thought, the secret act, the unnoticed kindness, and the concealed injustice. His knowledge is complete.

Because He watches the evil and the good, this verse warns the wicked that nothing stays buried before God, and it comforts the righteous that nothing done in faithfulness is unseen. Proverbs repeatedly teaches that wisdom begins with living as though God is truly present, because He is.
