Proverbs 15:6 shifts to the household: Great wealth is in the house of the righteous, but trouble is in the income of the wicked (v. 6). Solomon is comparing not just possessions, but the moral quality of what fills a life.
The house of the righteous contains great wealth, which can include material provision, but also peace, integrity, stability, and the broader blessings that accompany wisdom. A righteous home may not always look lavish, yet it contains treasure of a deeper kind because it is ordered according to truth.
By contrast, trouble is in the income of the wicked. Even what they gain is infected by unrest. Wealth acquired or used in crookedness carries disruption inside it. It brings anxiety, conflict, and instability. Solomon’s point is that prosperity without righteousness is not true abundance.
