The Bible Says
Proverbs 16:3 Meaning

Here in Proverbs 16:3, Solomon gives one of the great practical exhortations of the chapter: Commit your works to the LORD and your plans will be established (v. 3). To commit our works to the Lord is to place what we do under His authority and care. It means we do not merely ask Him to bless our agenda, but entrust our labor to Him as servants.

When our works are committed to Him, your plans will be established. This does not mean God guarantees every idea we imagine. It means that when our activity is yielded to Him, our plans are more likely to be grounded in what is true, fruitful, and lasting. Submission to God brings stability because it aligns us with reality rather than illusion.

This fits closely with the earlier Proverbs theme that true wisdom is received from God and then stewarded faithfully. We are not called to invent wisdom, but to entrust ourselves to its Source.
