A percepção apresentada por Salomão em Provérbios 13:15 revela que A boa inteligência consegue favor, mas o caminho dos prevaricadores é escabroso (v. 15). O entendimento produz frutos nos relacionamentos. Quando uma pessoa enxerga com clareza e age com sabedoria, os outros frequentemente respondem com confiança e respeito.
A boa compreensão gera benevolência porque o discernimento torna a pessoa firme, justa e benéfica para aqueles ao seu redor. Ela se torna mais confiável, mais fácil de conviver e mais propensa a contribuir para a paz. A sabedoria tende a abrir portas porque abençoa a comunidade.
Mas o caminho dos traiçoeiros é árduo. A traição complica a vida. Ela gera suspeitas, conflitos e consequências que tornam a jornada difícil e exaustiva. O caminho difícil muitas vezes não é imposto apenas de fora; ele é gerado pela própria desonestidade.
