Em Provérbios 13:25, Salomão conclui: O justo come até matar a fome, mas o ventre dos perversos terá falta (v. 25). Este provérbio final contrasta a satisfação com a carência. O justo experimenta a abundância, enquanto o ímpio permanece vazio.
O justo tem o suficiente para satisfazer sua fome porque a justiça alinha a pessoa com a provisão de Deus e direciona o desejo para uma forma mais saudável. A satisfação não é meramente o acúmulo de mais, mas o atendimento adequado da necessidade real dentro da ordem de Deus.
Mas o estômago do ímpio está faminto. A maldade é inquieta. Ela não sabe se contentar, porque seus apetites são desordenados e sempre exigentes. Mesmo onde há muita abundância, o vazio permanece. Isso encerra o capítulo mostrando que a sabedoria conduz a uma vida plena, enquanto a maldade leva à constante carência.
