Mas quem profere mentiras é traiçoeiro, usando a palavra para trair em vez de proteger. É por isso que as Escrituras tratam o falso testemunho como um mal tão grave. As mentiras não apenas distorcem informações; elas põem vidas em perigo e destroem a confiança.
