A segurança encontrada em Provérbios 14:26, por Salomão, revela que Quem teme a Jeová tem seguro apoio, e os seus filhos terão um lugar de refúgio (v. 26). Este é um belo paradoxo. Temer o Senhor produz confiança em vez de terror.
O temor do Senhor é uma confiança reverente, a disposição de viver sob a sabedoria de Deus em vez da própria ilusão de controle. Essa postura proporciona grande segurança porque ancora a alma naquilo que é verdadeiramente estável.
Isso também proporciona uma bênção geracional: seus filhos terão refúgio. Aquele que teme ao Senhor cria um ambiente de segurança e estabilidade para os outros. Uma vida corretamente ordenada sob a proteção de Deus torna-se abrigo, não apenas para si mesmo, mas para toda a família.
