Provérbios 15:21 muda o foco para o deleite e a direção: A estultícia é alegria para quem é falto de sabedoria, mas o homem de entendimento faz direito o seu caminho (v. 21). O que uma pessoa aprecia diz muito sobre o seu coração.
Para quem não tem juízo, a loucura é alegria. Ele se deleita naquilo que o deforma. Esta é uma das marcas mais profundas da insensatez: não apenas praticar o mal, mas apreciá-lo como se fosse o bem.
O homem de entendimento, porém, faz direito o seu caminho. A sabedoria conduz à direção correta. Ele não tem apenas mais informações; ele está alinhado moralmente. Sua vida possui uma clareza e firmeza que contrastam fortemente com os prazeres distorcidos do tolo.
