The law leads to death, but we live by faith to God — Galatians 2:19

The life which I now live is by faith — Galatians 2:20

Having begun by the Spirit, can we now be perfected in the flesh? — Galatians 3:3

No — the just man is not justified by the law,
BUT THE JUST MAN IS JUSTIFIED AND LIVES BY FAITH — Galatians 3:11

2.2   Hebrew 10:38 — The just shall live BY FAITHHebrews 10:35-39

Patient faith sustains us in the face of overwhelming difficulties.

Patient faith sees fulfillment — Hebrews 10:36-37

THE JUST MAN LIVES BY FAITH — Hebrews 10:38-39

Faith focuses on the which is not yet seen — Hebrews 11:1

Faith is the only way to please God — Hebrews 11:6

Faith anticipates the heavenly glory — Hebrews 11:10, 11:16

Faith does not always have its fulfillment in this life — Hebrews 11:35-36 (Note: “And others” )

Faith keeps its focus on Jesus — Hebrews 12:1-4

2.3   Romans 1:17   THE JUST shall live by faith

The righteous man is one who identifies, not with human self–sufficiency, but with the gospel of the salvation that God provides.
