But you are a prostitute H2181 with many H7227 [fn]lovers H7453;
Then the LORD H3068 said H559 to me in the days H3117 of King H4428 Josiah H2977, “Have you seen H7200 what H834 faithless H4878 Israel H3478 did H6213? She went H1980 up on every H3605 high H1364 hill H2022 and under H8478 every H3605 leafy H7488 tree H6086, and she prostituted H2181 herself there H8033.

Then He said H559 to me, “The guilt H5771 of the house H1004 of Israel H3478 and Judah H3063 is very H3966, very H3966 great H1419, and the land H776 is filled H4390 with blood H1818, and the city H5892 is full H4390 of perversion H4297; for they say H559, ‘The LORD H3068 has abandoned H5800 the land H776, and the LORD H3068 does not see H7200!'
Now the Spirit H7307 lifted H5375 me up H5375 and brought H935 me to the east H6931 gate H8179 of the LORD'S H3068 house H1004 which faced H6437 eastward H6931. Then they will know H3045 that I am the LORD H3068, when I execute H6213 judgments H8201 against her,
In the twenty-fifth H6242 H2568 year H8141 of our exile H1546, at the beginning H7218 of the year H8141, on the tenth H6218 of the month H2320, in the fourteenth H702 H6240 year H8141 after H310 the city H5892 was [fn]taken H5221, on this H2088 very H6106 day H3117 the hand H3027 of the LORD H3068 was upon me and He brought H935 me there H8033.

“But the Levitical H3881 priests H3548, the sons H1121 of Zadok H6659, who H834 [fn]took H8104 responsibility H4931 for My sanctuary H4720 when the sons H1121 of Israel H3478 went H8582 astray H8582 from Me, shall come H7126 near H7126 to Me to serve H8334 Me; and they shall stand H5975 before H6440 Me to offer H7126 Me the fat H2459 and the blood H1818,” declares H5002 the Lord H136 GOD H3068.

“At that time H2166 my [fn]reason H4486 returned H8421 to me. “I sent H7971 a plague H1698 among you [fn]as in Egypt H4714;
I killed H2026 your young H970 men H970 with the sword H2719, along H5973 with H5973 your captured H7628 horses H5483,
And I made the stench H889 of your camp H4264 rise H5927 up H5927 in your nostrils H639;
Yet you have not returned H7725 to Me,” declares H5002 the LORD H3068.
“Behold H2009 I am about to put H7760 a plumb H594 line H594
In the midst H7130 of My people H5971 Israel H3478.
