“If H3588 you go H3318 out H3318 to battle H4421 against H5921 your enemies H340 and see H7200 horses H5483 and chariots H7393 and people H5971 more H7227 numerous H7227 than H4480 you, do not be H3372 afraid H3372 of them; for Yahweh H3068 your God H430, who H834 brought H5927 you up H5927 from the land H776 of Egypt H4714, is with you.
“If H3588 you besiege H6696 a city H5892 for many H7227 days H3117, to make H3898 war H3898 against H5921 it in order to capture H8610 it, you shall not destroy H7843 its trees H6086 by swinging H5080 an axe H1631 against H5921 them; for you may eat H398 from them, and you shall not cut H3772 them down H3772. “If H3588 a man H376 takes H3947 a wife H802 and marries H1166 her, and it happens H1961 [fn]that she finds H4672 no H3808 favor H2580 in his eyes H5869 because H3588 he has found H4672 some H1697 indecency H6172 in her, and he writes H3789 her a certificate H5612 of divorce H3748 and puts H5414 it in her hand H3027 and sends H7971 her out H7971 from his house H1004,
“When H3588 a man H376 takes H3947 a new H2319 wife H802, he shall not go H3318 out H3318 with the army H6635 nor H3808 be charged H5674 with any H3605 duty H1697; he shall be free H5355 at home H1004 one H259 year H8141 and shall give H8055 gladness H8055 to his wife H802 whom H834 he has taken H3947.
“Now it will be, if H518 you diligently H8085 listen H8085 to the voice H6963 of Yahweh H3068 your God H430, being H8104 careful H8104 to do H6213 all H3605 His commandments H4687 which H834 I am commanding H6680 you today H3117, Yahweh H3068 your God H430 will set H5414 you high H5945 above H5921 all H3605 the nations H1471 of the earth H776.
“So it will be, when H3588 all H3605 of these H428 things H1697 have come H935 upon you, the blessing H1293 and the curse H7045 which H834 I have set H5414 before H6440 you, and you cause these things to return H7725 to your heart H3824 in all H3605 the nations H1471 where H834 H8033 Yahweh H3068 your God H430 has banished H5080 you,
Then Moses H4872 called H7121 to Joshua H3091 and said H559 to him in the sight H5869 of all H3605 Israel H3478, “Be strong H2388 and courageous H553, for you shall go H935 with this H2088 people H5971 into the land H776 which H834 Yahweh H3068 has sworn H7650 to their fathers H1 to give H5414 them, and you shall give H5157 it to them as H5157 an H5157 inheritance H5157.
Then Yahweh H3068 said H559 to Moses H4872, “Behold H2005, [fn]the time H3117 for you to die H4191 is near H7126; call H7121 Joshua H3091 and present H3320 yourselves at the tent H168 of meeting H4150, that I may commission H6680 him.” So Moses H4872 and Joshua H3091 went H1980 and presented H3320 themselves at the tent H168 of meeting H4150.

They will not pour H5258 out H5258 drink H5258 offerings H5258 of wine H3196 to Yahweh H3068;
Their sacrifices H2077 will not please H6149 Him.
Their bread will [fn]be like [fn]mourners' H205 bread H3899;
All H3605 who eat H398 of it will be defiled H2930,
For their bread H3899 will be for [fn]themselves H5315 alone;
I found H4672 Israel H3478 like grapes H6025 in the wilderness H4057;

So rejoice H1523, O sons H1121 of Zion H6726,

“For three H7969 transgressions H6588 of Tyre H6865 and for four H702

Because H5921 they delivered H5462 up H5462 the whole H8003 community of exiles H1546 to Edom H123
And did not remember H2142 the covenant H1285 of [fn]brotherhood H251.

“For three H7969 transgressions H6588 of Edom H123 and for four H702

And will render H3198 decisions H3198 for mighty H6099, [fn]distant H7350 nations H1471.
And they will hammer H3807 their swords H2719 into plowshares H855
And their spears H2595 into pruning H4211 hooks H4211;
Nation H1471 will not lift H5375 up H5375 sword H2719 against H413 nation H1471,

And you will try to remove H5472 something for safekeeping,

“The statutes H2708 of Omri H6018

“Therefore H3651 wait H2442 for Me,” declares H5002 Yahweh H3068,

Indeed H3588, My judgment H4941 is to assemble H622 nations H1471,
To gather H6908 kingdoms H4467,
To pour H8210 out H8210 on them My indignation H2195,

“Behold H2009, I am going to send H7971 My [fn]messenger H4397, and he will [fn]prepare H6437 the way H1870 before H6440 Me.
