Woe H1945 to you, O destroyer H7703,
While you were not destroyed H7703;
And he who is treacherous H898, while others did not deal H898 treacherously H898 with him.
As soon as you finish H8552 destroying H7703, you will be destroyed H7703;
As soon as you cease H5239 to deal H898 treacherously H898, others will deal H898 treacherously H898 with you.

Will come H5674 over H5674 to you and will be yours;
They will walk H1980 behind H310 you; they will come H5674 over H5674 in chains H2131

“I am Yahweh H3068, and there H369 is H369 none H369 else H5750.
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068, the Redeemer H1350 of Israel H3478 and its Holy H6918 One H6918,
To the despised H960 One,
To the One abhorred H8581 by the nation H1471,
To the Servant H5650 of rulers H4910,
“Kings H4428 will see H7200 and arise H6965,
Princes H8269 will also bow H2331 down H2331,
Because H4616 of Yahweh H3068 who H834 is faithful H539, the Holy H6918 One H6918 of Israel H3478 who has chosen H977 You.”
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068,
“In an acceptable H7522 time H6256 I have answered H6030 You,
And in a day H3117 of salvation H3444 I have helped H5826 You;
And I will guard H5341 You and give H5414 You for a covenant H1285 of the people H5971,
To establish H6965 the land H776, to make H5157 them inherit H5157 the desolate H8074 [fn]inheritance H5159;
Thus H3541 says H559 Lord H136 Yahweh H3068,
“Behold H2009, I will lift H5375 up H5375 My hand H3027 to the nations H1471
And make high H7311 My standard H5251 to the peoples H5971;
And they will bring H935 your sons H1121 in their bosom H2684,
And your daughters H1323 will be lifted H5375 up H5375 on their shoulders H3802.
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068,
“Where H335 is the certificate H5612 of divorce H3748
By which H834 I have sent H7971 your mother H517 away H7971?
Or H176 to which H4310 of My creditors H5383 did I sell H4376 you?
Behold H2005, you were sold H4376 for your iniquities H5771,
And for your transgressions H6588 your mother H517 was sent H7971 away H7971.
“Is it a fast H6685 like this H2088 which I choose H977, a day H3117 for a man H120 to afflict H6031 himself H5315?
Is it for bowing H3721 [fn]one's head H7218 like a reed H100
And for spreading H3331 out H3331 sackcloth H8242 and ashes H665 as H3331 a H3331 bed H3331?
Will you call H7121 this H2088 a fast H6685, even an acceptable H7522 day H3117 to Yahweh H3068?
For as the earth H776 brings H3318 forth H3318 its branches H6780,
And as a garden H1593 causes the things H2221 sown H2221 in it to branch H6779 out H6779,
So H3651 Lord H136 Yahweh H3068 will cause righteousness H6666 and praise H8416

Who H4310 is this H2088 who comes H935 from Edom H123,
With garments H899 of [fn]glowing H2556 colors H2556 from Bozrah H1224,
This H2088 One H2088 who is majestic H1921 in His clothing H3830,
[fn]Marching H6805 in the greatness H7230 of His power H3581?
“It is I who speak H1696 in righteousness H6666, mighty H7227 to save H3467.”
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068,
“As the new H8492 wine H8492 is found H4672 in the cluster H811,
And one says H559, ‘Do not make H7843 it a ruin H7843, for there is [fn]benefit H1293 in it,'
So H3651 I will act H6213 on behalf H4616 of My slaves H5650
In order not to make H7843 [fn]all H3605 of them a ruin H7843.
“Who H4310 has heard H8085 such H2088 a thing H2088? Who H4310 has seen H7200 such H428 things?
Can a land H776 be [fn]brought H2342 forth H2342 through H2342 labor H2342 pains H2342 in one H259 day H3117?
Can a nation H1471 be born H3205 all H6471 at H6471 once H259 H6471?

‘But like the rotten H7451 figs H8384 which H834 cannot H3808 be eaten H398 due H4480 to rottenness H7455—indeed H3588, thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068—so H3651 I will give H5414 over Zedekiah H6667 king H4428 of Judah H3063 and his officials H8269 and the remnant H7611 of Jerusalem H3389 who remain H7604 in this H2088 land H776 and the ones who inhabit H3427 the land H776 of Egypt H4714.
“Zion H6726 will be plowed H2790 as a field H7704,
And Jerusalem H3389 will become H1961 a heap H5856 of H5856 ruins H5856,
And the mountain H2022 of the house H1004 will become [fn]the high H1116 places H1116 of a forest H3293.”'
Then I spoke H1696 to the priests H3548 and to all H3605 this H2088 people H5971, saying H559, “Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068: Do not listen H8085 to the words H1697 of your prophets H5030 who prophesy H5012 to you, saying H559, ‘Behold H2009, the vessels H3627 of the house H1004 of Yahweh H3068 will now H6258 shortly H4120 be returned H7725 from Babylon H894'; for they are prophesying H5012 a lie H8267 to you.
“Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478, concerning H413 Ahab H256 the son H1121 of Kolaiah H6964 and concerning H413 Zedekiah H6667 the son H1121 of Maaseiah H4641, who are prophesying H5012 to you falsely H8267 in My name H8034, ‘Behold H2009, I will give H5414 them into the hand H3027 of Nebuchadnezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon H894, and he will strike H5221 them down H5221 before your eyes H5869.
“Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068,
‘Behold H2009, I will [fn]return H7725 the [fn]fortunes H7622 of the tents H168 of Jacob H3290
And have H7355 compassion H7355 on H7355 his dwelling H4908 places H4908;
And the city H5892 will be rebuilt H1129 on its ruin H8510,
And the palace H759 will sit H3427 on its just H4941 place H4941.
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478, “Once again H5750 they will speak H559 this H2088 word H1697 in the land H776 of Judah H3063 and in its cities H5892 when I [fn]return H7725 their [fn]fortunes H7622,
‘Yahweh H3068 bless H1288 you, O abode H5116 of righteousness H6664,
“So now H6258, therefore H3651 thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068, the God H430 of Israel H3478, concerning H413 this H2088 city H5892 of which H834 you are saying H559, ‘It is given H5414 into the hand H3027 of the king H4428 of Babylon H894 by sword H2719, by famine H7458, and by pestilence H1698.'
“Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068, ‘Yet H5750 again H5750 there will be heard H8085 in this H2088 place H4725, of which H834 you say H559, “It is a waste H2720, without H369 man H120 and without H369 beast H929,” that is, in the cities H5892 of Judah H3063 and in the streets H2351 of Jerusalem H3389 that are desolate H8074, without H369 man H120 and without H369 inhabitant H3427 and without H369 beast H929,
“Therefore H3651 thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068, ‘You have not obeyed H8085 Me in proclaiming H7121 [fn]release H1865 each H376 man H376 to his brother H251 and each H376 man H376 to his neighbor H7453. Behold H2009, I am proclaiming H7121 a [fn]release H1865 to you,' declares H5002 Yahweh H3068, ‘to the sword H2719, to the pestilence H1698, and to the famine H7458; and I will make H5414 you a terror H2113 to all H3605 the kingdoms H4467 of the earth H776.

Then Jeremiah H3414 said H559 to Zedekiah H6667, “Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 God H430 of hosts H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478, ‘If H518 you will indeed H3318 go H3318 out H3318 to the [fn]officers H8269 of the king H4428 of Babylon H894, then [fn]you will live H2421, this H2088 city H5892 will not be burned H8313 with fire H784, and you and your household H1004 will live H2421.
For thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478, “As My anger H639 and wrath H2534 have been poured H5413 out H5413 on the inhabitants H3427 of Jerusalem H3389, so H3651 My wrath H2534 will be poured H5413 out H5413 on you when you enter H935 Egypt H4714. And you will become H1961 a curse H423, an object H8047 of H8047 horror H8047, an imprecation H7045, and a reproach H2781; and you will see H7200 this H2088 place H4725 no H3808 more H5750.”
Concerning Moab H4124. Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478,
“Woe H1945 to Nebo H5015, for it has been destroyed H7703;
Kiriathaim H7156 has been put H954 to H954 shame H954, it has been captured H3920;
The lofty H4869 stronghold H4869 has been put H954 to H954 shame H954 and [fn]shattered H2865.

“Just H834 as the shepherd H7462 delivers H5337 from the lion's H738 mouth H6310 a couple H8147 of legs H3767 or H176 a piece H915 of an ear H241,
So H3651 will the sons H1121 of Israel H3478 inhabiting H3427 Samaria H8111 be delivered H5337—
With the corner H6285 of a bed H4296 and the [fn]cover H1833 of a couch H6210!
