‘They have made H7065 Me jealous H7065 with what is not God H410;
They have provoked H3707 Me to H3707 anger H3707 with their [fn]idols H1892.
So I will make H7065 them jealous H7065 with those who are not a people H5971;
I will provoke H3707 them to H3707 anger H3707 with a wickedly H5036 foolish H5036 nation H1471,

But at the time H6256 of their distress H6869 they cried H6817 to You,
And You listened H8085 from heaven H8064, and according to Your abundant H7227 compassion H7356
You gave H5414 them saviors H3467 and they saved H3467 them from the hand H3027 of the ones that distressed H6862 them.
“But as soon as they had H5117 rest H5117, they returned H7725 to do H6213 evil H7451 before H6440 You;
Therefore You forsook H5800 them in the hand H3027 of their enemies H340, so they had dominion H7287 over them.
Then they returned H7725 and cried H2199 to You. And You listened H8085 from heaven H8064,

The [fn]oracle H4853 concerning the beasts H929 of the Negev H5045.
Through a land H776 of distress H6869 and anguish H6695,
From [fn]where H1992 come lioness H3833 and lion H3918, viper H660 and flying H5774 fiery H8314 serpent H8314,
They carry H5375 their wealth H2428 on the [fn]backs H3802 of young H5895 donkeys H5895
His breath H7307 is like an overflowing H7857 torrent H5158,
Which reaches H2673 to the neck H6677,

[fn]Scarcely H1077 H637 have they been planted H5193;
[fn]Scarcely H1077 H637 have they been sown H2232;
[fn]Scarcely H1077 H637 has their stem H1503 taken H8327 root H8327 in the earth H776,
But He merely H1571 blows H5398 on them, and they [fn]wither H3001,
And the storm H5591 carries H5375 them away like stubble H7179.
“No H3605 H3808 weapon H3627 that is formed H3335 against H5921 you will succeed H6743;
And every H3605 tongue H3956 that [fn]accuses H6965 you in judgment H4941 you will condemn H7561.

For thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068, “Behold H2009, I stretch H5186 out H5186 peace H7965 to her like a river H5104,
And the glory H3519 of the nations H1471 like an overflowing H7857 stream H5158;
And you will [fn]be nursed H3243; you will be carried H5375 on the [fn]hip H6654 and played H8173 with H8173 on the knees H1290.
Therefore H5921 H3651 a lion H738 from the forest H3293 will strike H5221 them down H5221;
A wolf H2061 of the deserts H6160 will devastate H7703 them;
A leopard H5246 is watching H8245 their cities H5892.
Everyone H3605 who goes H3318 out of them will be torn H2963 in H2963 pieces H2963
Because H3588 their transgressions H6588 are H7231 many H7231;
Their acts H4878 of faithlessness H4878 are H6105 mighty H6105.
Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635, who planted H5193 you, has spoken H1696 forth evil H7451 against H5921 you because H1558 of the evil H7451 of the house H1004 of Israel H3478 and of the house H1004 of Judah H3063, which H834 they have [fn]done H6213 to provoke H3707 Me to anger H3707 by burning H6999 incense H6999 to Baal H1168.
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 concerning H5921 all H3605 My evil H7451 neighbors H7934 who beat H5060 at the inheritance H5159 with which H834 I have caused H5157 My people H5971 Israel H3478 to H5157 inherit H5157, “Behold H2009, I am about to uproot H5428 them from their land H127 and will uproot H5428 the house H1004 of Judah H3063 from among H8432 them.
“Behold H2009, I am going to send H7971 for many H7227 fishermen H1728,” declares H5002 Yahweh H3068, “and they will fish H1770 for them; and afterwards H310 H3651 I will send H7971 for many H7227 hunters H6719, and they will hunt H6679 them from every H3605 mountain H2022 and every H3605 hill H1389 and from the crevices H5357 of the rocks H5553.
Therefore H3651, give H5414 their children H1121 over to famine H7458
And deliver H5064 them up to the [fn]power H3027 of the sword H2719;
And let their wives H802 become H1961 childless H7909 and widowed H490.
Let their men H376 also be [fn]smitten H2026 to death H4194,
Their young H970 men H970 struck H5221 down H5221 by the sword H2719 in battle H4421.
“Therefore H3651 their way H1870 will be like slippery H2519 paths H2519 to them;
They will be driven H1760 away H1760 into the thick H653 darkness H653 and fall H5307 down H5307 in it;
For I will bring H935 their evil H7451 upon them,
The year H8141 of their [fn]punishment H6486,” declares H5002 Yahweh H3068.

For from the prophets H5030 of Jerusalem H3389
Pollution H2613 has gone H3318 forth H3318 into all H3605 the land H776.'”

“Behold H2009, I am bringing H935 them from the north H6828 country H776,
And I will gather H6908 them from the remote H3411 parts H3411 of the earth H776,
Among them the blind H5787 and the lame H6455,
The woman H2030 with child H2030 and she who is in H3205 labor H3205 with child, together H3162;
A great H1419 assembly H6951, they will return H7725 here H2008.
“Their camels H1581 will become H1961 plunder H957,
And their many H1995 cattle H4735 for spoil H7998,
And I will scatter H2219 to all H3605 the winds H7307 those who cut H7112 the corners H6285 of their hair;

‘So I will [fn]shatter H2865 Elam H5867 before H6440 their enemies H340

And I will bring H935 calamity H7451 upon them,
Even My burning H2740 anger H639,' declares H5002 Yahweh H3068,
‘And I will send H7971 out H7971 the sword H2719 after H310 them
“Behold H2009, one will come H5927 up H5927 like a lion H738 from the [fn]thicket H1347 of the Jordan H3383 to an enduring H386 pasture H5116; for in an instant H7280 I will make them run H7323 away H4480 from it, and whoever H4310 is chosen H977 I will appoint H6485 over H413 it. For who H4310 is like H3644 Me, and who H4310 will [fn]summon H3259 Me into court? And who H4310 then H2088 is the shepherd H7462 who H834 can stand H5975 before H6440 Me?”
Then I said H559 I would pour H8210 out H8210 My wrath H2534 on them, to [fn]spend H3615 My anger H639 against them in the midst H8432 of the land H776 of Egypt H4714.

I will gather H6908 all H3605 the nations H1471
And bring H3381 them down H3381 to the valley H6010 of [fn]Jehoshaphat H3092.
Then I will enter H8199 into H8199 judgment H8199 with them there H8033
On H5921 behalf H5921 of H5921 My people H5971 and My inheritance H5159, Israel H3478,
Whom H834 they have scattered H6340 among the nations H1471;
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068,
“For three H7969 transgressions H6588 of Edom H123 and for four H702
I will not turn H7725 back H7725 its punishment
Because H5921 he pursued H7291 his brother H251 with the sword H2719

“Then the house H1004 of Jacob H3290 will be a fire H784

But the house H1004 of Esau H6215 will be as stubble H7179.
And they will set H1814 [fn]them on H1814 fire H1814 and consume H398 [fn]them
So that there will be no H3808 survivor H8300 of the house H1004 of Esau H6215,”
Neither H1571 H3808 their silver H3701 nor H1571 their gold H2091
Will be H3201 able H3201 to deliver H5337 them
On the day H3117 of the fury H5678 of Yahweh H3068;
And all H3605 the earth H776 will be devoured H398
In the fire H784 of His jealousy H7068,
For He will make H6213 a complete H3617 destruction H3617,
“Therefore H3651 wait H2442 for Me,” declares H5002 Yahweh H3068,
“For the day H3117 when I rise H6965 up H6965 as a witness H5707.
Indeed H3588, My judgment H4941 is to assemble H622 nations H1471,
To gather H6908 kingdoms H4467,
To pour H8210 out H8210 on them My indignation H2195,
All H3605 My burning H2740 anger H639;
“My anger H639 burns H2734 against H5921 the shepherds H7462,
And I will visit H6485 punishment upon the [fn]male H6260 goats H6260;
For Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635 has visited H6485 His flock H5739, the house H1004 of Judah H3063,
And will make H7760 them like His splendid H1935 horse H5483 in battle H4421.
“[fn]For behold H2009, the day H3117 is coming H935, burning H1197 like a furnace H8574; and all H3605 the arrogant H2086 and every H3605 worker H6213 of wickedness H7564 will be chaff H7179; and the day H3117 that is coming H935 will set H3857 them aflame H3857,” says H559 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635, “so H834 that H834 it will leave H5800 them neither H3808 root H8328 nor H3808 branch H6057.”
