The Queen of Sheba

1 Now the queen ^H4436 of Sheba ^H7614 heard ^H8085 the report ^H8088 about Solomon ^H8010 concerning the name ^H8034 of Yahweh ^H3068. So she came ^H935 to test ^H5254 him with riddles ^H2420.

2 She came ^H935 to Jerusalem ^H3389 with a very ^H3966 glorious ^H3515 retinue ^H2428, with camels ^H1581 carrying ^H5375 spices ^H1314 and very ^H3966 much ^H7227 gold ^H2091 and precious ^H3368 stones ^H68. And she came ^H935 to Solomon ^H8010 and spoke ^H1696 to him about all ^H3605 that was in her heart ^H3824. 3 And Solomon ^H8010 declared ^H5046 to her the answer to all ^H3605 her matters ^H1697; there was not ^H3808 a matter ^H1697 which was hidden ^H5956 from the king ^H4428 which ^H834 he did not declare ^H5046 to her. 4 Then the queen ^H4436 of Sheba ^H7614 saw ^H7200 all ^H3605 the wisdom ^H2451 of Solomon ^H8010, the house ^H1004 that he had built ^H1129, 5 the food ^H3978 of his table ^H7979, the seating ^H4186 of his servants ^H5650, the disposition ^H4612 of his attendants ^H8334 and their attire ^H4403, his cupbearers ^H4945, and [fn]his stairway ^H5930 by which ^H834 he went ^H5927 up ^H5927 to the house ^H1004 of Yahweh ^H3068, so that there was no ^H3808 more ^H5750 spirit ^H7307 in her. 6 Then she said ^H559 to the king ^H4428, “The word ^H1697 is true ^H571 which ^H834 I heard ^H8085 in my own land ^H776 about ^H5921 your words ^H1697 and your wisdom ^H2451. 7 Nevertheless I did not believe ^H539 those words ^H1697, until ^H5704 H834 I came ^H935 and my eyes ^H5869 had seen ^H7200 it. You exceed ^H3254, in wisdom ^H2451 and prosperity ^H2896, the report ^H8052 which ^H834 I heard ^H8085. 8 How blessed ^H835 are your men ^H376, how blessed ^H835 are these ^H428 your servants ^H5650 who stand ^H5975 before ^H6440 you continually ^H8548 and hear ^H8085 your wisdom ^H2451. 9 Blessed ^H1288 be Yahweh ^H3068 your God ^H430 who ^H834 delighted ^H2654 in you, to set ^H5414 you on the throne ^H3678 of Israel ^H3478; because Yahweh ^H3068 loved ^H157 Israel ^H3478 forever ^H5769, therefore He made ^H7760 you king ^H4428, to do ^H6213 justice ^H4941 and righteousness ^H6666.” 10 Then she gave ^H5414 the king ^H4428 [fn]120 ^H3967 H6242 talents ^H3603 of gold ^H2091 and a very ^H3966 great ^H7235 amount of spices ^H1314 and precious ^H3368 stones ^H68. 13 Thus King ^H4428 Solomon ^H8010 gave ^H5414 to the queen ^H4436 of Sheba ^H7614 all ^H3605 her desire ^H2656 which ^H834 she asked ^H7592, besides ^H4480 H905 what ^H834 he gave ^H5414 her according to [fn]his royal ^H4428 bounty ^H3027. Solomon’s Riches and Wisdom

14 Now the weight ^H4948 of gold ^H2091 which ^H834 came ^H935 to Solomon ^H8010 in one ^H259 year ^H8141 was 666 ^{H8337 H3967 H8346 H8337} talents ^H3603 of gold ^H2091,

23 So King ^H4428 Solomon ^H8010 became ^H1431 greater ^H1431 than ^H4480 all ^H3605 the kings ^H4428 of the earth ^H776 in riches ^H6239 and in wisdom ^H2451. 24 And all ^H3605 the earth ^H776 was seeking ^H1245 the presence ^H6440 of Solomon ^H8010, to hear ^H8085 his wisdom ^H2451 which ^H834 God ^H430 had put ^H5414 in his heart ^H3820. 25 And they brought ^H935 every ^H376 man ^H376 his present ^H4503, articles ^H3627 of silver ^H3701 and gold ^H2091, garments ^H8008, weapons ^H5402, spices ^H1314, horses ^H5483, and mules ^H6505, a set ^H1697 amount ^H1697 year ^H8141 by year ^H8141.

26 And Solomon ^H8010 gathered ^H622 chariots ^H7393 and horsemen ^H6571. And he had ^H1961 1,400 ^{H505 H702 H3967} chariots ^H7393 and 12,000 ^{H8147 H6240 H505} horsemen ^H6571 and [fn]stationed ^H5148 them in the chariot ^H7393 cities ^H5892 and with the king ^H4428 in Jerusalem ^H3389. 27 The king ^H4428 also made ^H5414 silver ^H3701 as plentiful as stones ^H68 in Jerusalem ^H3389, and he made ^H5414 cedars ^H730 as plentiful ^H7230 as sycamore ^H8256 trees ^H8256 that are in the [fn]Shephelah ^H8219. 28 Solomon’s ^H8010 import ^H4161 of horses ^H5483 was from Egypt ^H4714 and Kue ^H4723; the king’s ^H4428 merchants ^H5503 procured ^H3947 them from Kue ^H4723 for a price ^H4242. 29 And a chariot ^H4818 [fn]was imported ^H5927 H3318 from Egypt ^H4714 for 600 ^H8337 H3967 shekels of silver ^H3701, and a horse ^H5483 for 150 ^H2572 H3967; and [fn]by the same ^H3651 means ^H3027 they exported ^H3318 them to all ^H3605 the kings ^H4428 of the Hittites ^H2850 and to the kings ^H4428 of Aram ^H758.
