1 Then Elisha ^H477 said ^H559, “Listen ^H8085 to the word ^H1697 of Yahweh ^H3068; thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068, ‘About this time ^H6256 tomorrow ^H4279 a [fn]seah ^H5429 of fine ^H5560 flour ^H5560 will be sold for a [fn]shekel ^H8255, and two [fn]seahs ^H5429 of barley ^H8184 for a [fn]shekel ^H8255, in the gate ^H8179 of Samaria ^H8111.’” 2 And the royal ^H4428 officer ^H7991 on whose ^H834 hand ^H3027 the king ^H4428 was leaning ^H8172 answered ^H6030 the man ^H376 of God ^H430 and said ^H559, “Behold ^H2009, if Yahweh ^H3068 should make ^H6213 windows ^H699 in heaven ^H8064, could this ^H2088 thing ^H1697 be?” Then he said ^H559, “Behold ^H2009, you will see ^H7200 it with your own eyes ^H5869, but you will not eat ^H398 [fn]of it.”

Lepers Report the Arameans’ Flight

3 Now there were four ^H702 leprous ^H6879 men ^H376 at the entrance ^H6607 of the gate ^H8179; and they said ^H559 to one ^H376 another ^H7453, “Why ^H4100 do we sit ^H3427 here ^H6311 until ^H5704 we die ^H4191?

4 If ^H518 we say ^H559, ‘We will enter ^H935 the city ^H5892,’ then the famine ^H7458 is in the city ^H5892 and we will die ^H4191 there ^H8033; and if ^H518 we sit ^H3427 here ^H6311, we die ^H4191 also. So now ^H6258 come ^H1980, and let us [fn]go ^H5307 over ^H5307 to the camp ^H4264 of the Arameans ^H758. Plundering the Arameans
