Jehoram Restores the Shunammite’s Land

1 Now Elisha ^H477 spoke ^H1696 to the woman ^H802 whose ^H834 son ^H1121 he had restored ^H2421 to ^H2421 life ^H2421, saying ^H559, “Arise ^H6965 and go ^H1980 [fn]with your household ^H1004, and sojourn ^H1481 wherever ^H834 you can sojourn ^H1481; for Yahweh ^H3068 has called ^H7121 for a famine ^H7458, and it will even ^H1571 come ^H935 on the land ^H776 for seven ^H7651 years ^H8141.”

Elisha Weeps over Hazael’s Evil

And he said ^H559 to him, “What ^H4100 did Elisha ^H477 say ^H559 to you?” And he said ^H559, “He said ^H559 to me that you would surely ^H2421 be restored ^H2421 to life ^H2421.” 15 Now it happened that on the following ^H4283 day ^H4283, he took ^H3947 the cover ^H4345 and dipped ^H2881 it in water ^H4325 and spread ^H6566 it on his face ^H6440; so he died ^H4191. Jehoram Reigns over Judah

16 Now in the fifth ^H2568 year ^H8141 of Joram ^H3141 the son ^H1121 of Ahab ^H256 king ^H4428 of Israel ^H3478, Jehoshaphat ^H3092 being then the king ^H4428 of Judah ^H3063, Jehoram ^H3088 the son ^H1121 of Jehoshaphat ^H3092 king ^H4428 of Judah ^H3063 became ^H4427 king ^H4427.

Ahaziah Reigns over Judah

25 In the twelfth ^H8147 H6240 year ^H8141 of Joram ^H3141 the son ^H1121 of Ahab ^H256 king ^H4428 of Israel ^H3478, Ahaziah ^H274 the son ^H1121 of Jehoram ^H3088 king ^H4428 of Judah ^H3063 became king ^H4427. 26 Ahaziah ^H274 was twenty-two ^H6242 H8147 years ^H8141 old ^H1121 when he became ^H4427 king ^H4427, and he reigned ^H4427 one ^H259 year ^H8141 in Jerusalem ^H3389. 28 Then he went ^H1980 with Joram ^H3141 the son ^H1121 of Ahab ^H256 to war ^H4421 with ^H5973 Hazael ^H2371 king ^H4428 of Aram ^H758 at Ramoth-gilead ^H7433, and the Arameans ^H761 struck ^H5221 Joram ^H3141. 29 So King ^H4428 Joram ^H3141 returned ^H7725 to be healed ^H7495 in Jezreel ^H3157 of the wounds ^H4347 which ^H834 the Arameans ^H761 had caused ^H5221 by striking ^H5221 him at Ramah ^H7414 when he fought ^H3898 against ^H854 Hazael ^H2371 king ^H4428 of Aram ^H758. Then Ahaziah ^H274 the son ^H1121 of Jehoram ^H3088 king ^H4428 of Judah ^H3063 went ^H3381 down ^H3381 to see ^H7200 Joram ^H3141 the son ^H1121 of Ahab ^H256 in Jezreel ^H3157 because ^H3588 he was ^H2470 sick ^H2470.
