Eyewitnesses of Jesus

16 For we did ^G1107 not make known ^G1107 to you the power ^G1411 and coming ^G3952 of our Lord ^G2962 Jesus ^G2424 Christ ^G5547, following ^G1811 cleverly ^G4679 devised ^G4679 myths ^G3454, but being eyewitnesses ^G2030 of His majesty ^G3168.

19 [fn]And we have ^G2192 as more ^G949 sure ^G949 the prophetic ^G4397 word ^G3056, to which ^G3739 you do ^G4160 well ^G2573 to pay ^G4337 attention ^G4337 as to a lamp ^G3088 shining ^G5316 in a dark ^G850 place ^G5117, until ^G2193 the day ^G2250 dawns ^G1306 and the morning ^G5459 star ^G5459 arises ^G393 in your hearts ^G2588. 20 Know ^G1097 this ^G3778 first ^G4413 of all, that no ^G3956 G3756 prophecy ^G4394 of Scripture ^G1124 comes ^G1096 by one’s ^G2398 own ^G2398 interpretation ^G1955. 21 For no ^G3756 prophecy ^G4394 was ever ^G4218 made ^G5342 by the will ^G2307 of man ^G444, but men ^G444 being moved ^G5342 by the Holy ^G40 Spirit ^G4151 spoke ^G2980 from God ^G2316.
