Yahweh Will Judge the Nations

1 The word ^H1697 which ^H834 Isaiah ^H3470 the son ^H1121 of Amoz ^H531 beheld ^H2372 concerning ^H5921 Judah ^H3063 and Jerusalem ^H3389.

2 Now it will be ^H1961 that

In the last ^H319 days ^H3117

The mountain ^H2022 of the house ^H1004 of Yahweh ^H3068

Will be established ^H3559 [fn]as the head ^H7218 of the mountains ^H2022,

And will be lifted ^H5375 up ^H5375 above ^H4480 the hills ^H1389;

And all ^H3605 the nations ^H1471 will stream ^H5102 to it.

3 And many ^H7227 peoples ^H5971 will come ^H1980 and say ^H559,

“Come ^H1980, let us go ^H5927 up ^H5927 to the mountain ^H2022 of Yahweh ^H3068,

To the house ^H1004 of the God ^H430 of Jacob ^H3290,

That He may instruct ^H3384 us [fn]from ^H4480 His ways ^H1870

And that we may walk ^H1980 in His paths ^H734.”

For from Zion ^H6726 the [fn]law ^H8451 will go ^H3318 forth ^H3318

4 And He will judge ^H8199 between ^H996 the nations ^H1471,

Yahweh Will Have a Day of Reckoning

5 Come ^H1980, house ^H1004 of Jacob ^H3290, and let us walk ^H1980 in the light ^H216 of Yahweh ^H3068.

6 For You have abandoned ^H5203 Your people ^H5971, the house ^H1004 of Jacob ^H3290,

Because ^H3588 they are filled ^H4390 with influences from the east ^H6924,

And they are soothsayers ^H6049 like the Philistines ^H6430,

Against ^H5921 all ^H3605 the hills ^H1389 that are lifted ^H5375 up ^H5375,

15 Against ^H5921 every ^H3605 lofty ^H1364 tower ^H4026,

Against ^H5921 every ^H3605 fortified ^H1219 wall ^H2346,

16 Against ^H5921 all ^H3605 the ships ^H591 of Tarshish ^H8659

And against ^H5921 all ^H3605 the desirable ^H2532 craft ^H7914.

17 The loftiness ^H1365 of [fn]man ^H120 will be bowed ^H7817 down ^H7817,

And the [fn]men ^H376 who are high ^H7312 will be made low ^H8213;

And Yahweh ^H3068 alone ^H905 will be ^H7682 exalted ^H7682 in ^H905 that day ^H3117,

18 But the idols ^H457 will completely ^H3632 vanish ^H2498.

19 Men will go ^H935 into caves ^H4631 of the rocks ^H6697

And into holes ^H4247 of the [fn]ground ^H6083

Before ^H4480 H6440 the dread ^H6343 of Yahweh ^H3068

And the splendor ^H1926 of His majesty ^H1347,

When He arises ^H6965 to make ^H6206 the earth ^H776 tremble ^H6206.

20 In that day ^H3117 men ^H120 will cast ^H7993 away ^H7993 to the moles ^H2661 and the bats ^H5847

Their idols ^H457 of silver ^H3701 and their idols ^H457 of gold ^H2091,

21 In order to go ^H935 into the caverns ^H5366 of the rocks ^H6697 and the clefts ^H5585 of the cliffs ^H5553

22 [fn]Stop ^H2308 regarding ^H2308 H4480 [fn]man ^H120, whose ^H834 breath ^H5397 of life is in his nostrils ^H639;
