Land That Remains to Be Possessed

The Inheritance East of the Jordan

29 Moses ^H4872 also gave ^H5414 an inheritance to the half-tribe ^H2677 H7626 of Manasseh ^H4519; and it was for the half-tribe ^H2677 H4294 of the sons ^H1121 of Manasseh ^H4519 according to their families ^H4940. 30 And their territory ^H1366 was from Mahanaim ^H4266, all ^H3605 Bashan ^H1316, all ^H3605 the kingdom ^H4468 of Og ^H5747 king ^H4428 of Bashan ^H1316, and all ^H3605 of [fn]Havvoth-jair ^H2971, which ^H834 are in Bashan ^H1316, sixty ^H8346 cities ^H5892; 31 also half ^H2677 of Gilead ^H1568, with Ashtaroth ^H6252 and Edrei ^H154, the cities ^H5892 of the kingdom ^H4468 of Og ^H5747 in Bashan ^H1316, were for the sons ^H1121 of Machir ^H4353 the son ^H1121 of Manasseh ^H4519, for half ^H2677 of the sons ^H1121 of Machir ^H4353 according to their families ^H4940.

32 These ^H428 are the territories which ^H834 Moses ^H4872 apportioned ^H5157 for ^H5157 an ^H5157 inheritance ^H5157 in the plains ^H6160 of Moab ^H4124, beyond ^H4480 H5676 the Jordan ^H3383 at Jericho ^H3405 to the east ^H4217. 33 But to the tribe ^H7626 of Levi ^H3878, Moses ^H4872 did not give ^H5414 an inheritance ^H5159; Yahweh ^H3068, the God ^H430 of Israel ^H3478, is their inheritance ^H5159, as He had [fn]promised ^H1696 to them.
