Do All Which Jesus Commands

1 Now He said ^G3004 to His disciples ^G3101, “It is [fn]inevitable ^G418 G3361 that [fn]stumbling ^G4625 blocks ^G4625 come ^G2064, but woe ^G3759 to him through ^G1223 whom ^G3739 they come ^G2064!

2 It [fn]would be better ^G3081 for him if ^G1487 a millstone ^G3037 G3457 were hung ^G4029 around ^G4012 his neck ^G5137 and he were thrown ^G4496 into the sea ^G2281, than ^G2228 that he would cause ^G4624 one ^G1520 of these ^G3778 little ^G3398 ones ^G3398 to ^G4624 stumble ^G4624. 3 [fn]Be on your guard ^G4337! If ^G1437 your brother ^G80 sins ^G264, rebuke ^G2008 him; and if ^G1437 he repents ^G3340, forgive ^G863 him. 4 And if ^G1437 he sins ^G264 against ^G1519 you seven ^G2034 times ^G2034 a day ^G2250, and returns ^G1994 to you seven ^G2034 times ^G2034, saying ^G3004, ‘I repent ^G3340,’ [fn]forgive ^G863 him.”

5 And the apostles ^G652 said ^G3004 to the Lord ^G2962, “Increase ^G4369 our faith ^G4102!” 6 And the Lord ^G2962 said ^G3004, “If ^G1487 you have ^G2192 faith ^G4102 like ^G5613 a mustard ^G4615 seed ^G2848, you would say ^G3004 to this ^G3778 mulberry ^G4807 tree ^G4807, ‘Be uprooted ^G1610 and be planted ^G5452 in the sea ^G2281’; and it would [fn]obey ^G5219 you.

7 “But which ^G5101 of you, having ^G2192 a slave ^G1401 plowing ^G722 or ^G2228 tending ^G4165 sheep ^G4165, will say ^G3004 to him when he has come ^G1525 in ^G1525 from the field ^G68, ‘Come ^G3928 immediately ^G2112 and [fn]sit ^G377 down ^G377 to eat’? 8 But will he not say ^G3004 to him, ‘Prepare ^G2090 something ^G5101 for me to eat ^G1172, and, [fn]clothing ^G4024 yourself properly, serve ^G1247 me while ^G2193 I eat ^G1172 and drink ^G4095; and [fn]afterward ^G3326 G3778 you [fn]may eat ^G2068 and drink ^G4095’? 9 Is he grateful ^G5485 to the slave ^G1401 because ^G3754 he did ^G4160 the things which were commanded ^G1299? 10 In this way ^G3779, you also ^G2532, when ^G3752 you do ^G4160 all ^G3956 the things ^G3956 which are commanded ^G1299 of you, say ^G3004, ‘We are unworthy ^G888 slaves ^G1401; we have done ^G4160 only that which ^G3739 we ought ^G3784 to have done ^G4160.’”

Jesus Cleanses Ten Lepers

11 And ^G2532 it happened ^G1096 that while ^G1722 He was ^G4198 on ^G4198 the way ^G4198 to Jerusalem ^G2419, He was passing ^G1330 through ^G1223 G3319 Samaria ^G4540 and Galilee ^G1056.

12 And as He entered ^G1525 a village ^G2968, ten ^G1176 leprous ^G3015 men ^G435 who ^G3739 stood ^G2476 at a distance ^G4207 met ^G528 Him. 13 And they raised ^G142 their voices ^G5456, saying ^G3004, “Jesus ^G2424, Master ^G1988, have ^G1653 mercy ^G1653 on us!” 14 When He saw ^G3708 them, He said ^G3004 to them, “Go ^G4198 and show ^G1925 yourselves ^G1438 to the priests ^G2409.” And ^G2532 it happened ^G1096 that as they were going ^G5217, they were cleansed ^G2511. 15 Now ^G1161 one ^G1520 of them, when he saw ^G3708 that he had been healed ^G2390, turned ^G5290 back ^G5290, glorifying ^G1392 God ^G2316 with a loud ^G3173 voice ^G5456, 16 and he fell ^G4098 on his face ^G4383 at His feet ^G4228, giving ^G2168 thanks ^G2168 to Him. And he was a Samaritan ^G4541. 17 Then ^G2532 Jesus ^G2424 answered ^G611 and said ^G3004, “Were there not ten ^G1176 cleansed ^G2511? But the nine ^G1767—where ^G4226 are they? 18 [fn]Was there no ^G3756 one found ^G2147 who turned back ^G5290 to give ^G1325 glory ^G1391 to God ^G2316, except ^G1508 this ^G3778 foreigner ^G241?” 19 And He said ^G3004 to him, “Stand ^G450 up ^G450 and go ^G4198; your faith ^G4102 has [fn]saved ^G4982 you ^G4982.”

20 Now ^G1161 having been questioned ^G1905 by the Pharisees ^G5330 as to when ^G4219 the kingdom ^G932 of God ^G2316 was coming ^G2064, He answered ^G611 them and said ^G3004, “The kingdom ^G932 of God ^G2316 is not coming ^G2064 with [fn]signs to be observed ^G3907, 21 nor ^G3761 will they say ^G3004, ‘Look ^G2400, here ^G5602!’ or ^G2228, ‘There ^G1563!’ For behold ^G2400, the kingdom ^G932 of God ^G2316 is in your midst ^G1787.”

The Coming of the Son of Man

22 And He said ^G3004 to the disciples ^G3101, “The days ^G2250 will come ^G2064 when ^G3753 you will long ^G1937 to see ^G3708 one ^G1520 of the days ^G2250 of the Son ^G5207 of Man ^G444, and you will not see ^G3708 it.

23 And they will say ^G3004 to you, ‘Look ^G2400 there ^G1563! Look ^G2400 here ^G5602!’ Do not go ^G565 away ^G565, and do not run ^G1377 after ^G1377 them. 24 For just ^G5618 like ^G5618 the lightning ^G796, when it flashes ^G797 out of one part [fn]of the sky ^G3772, shines ^G2989 to the other part [fn]of the sky ^G3772, so ^G3779 will the Son ^G5207 of Man ^G444 be in His day ^G2250. 25 But first ^G4413 He must ^G1163 suffer ^G3958 many ^G4183 things ^G4183 and be rejected ^G593 by this ^G3778 generation ^G1074. 26 And just ^G2531 as it was ^G1096 in the days ^G2250 of Noah ^G3575, so ^G3779 it will be also ^G2532 in the days ^G2250 of the Son ^G5207 of Man ^G444: 27 they were eating ^G2068, they were drinking ^G4095, they were marrying ^G1060, they were being given ^G1061 in ^G1061 marriage ^G1061, until ^G891 the day ^G2250 that Noah ^G3575 entered ^G1525 the ark ^G2787, and the flood ^G2627 came ^G2064 and destroyed ^G622 them all ^G3956. 28 [fn]It was ^G1096 the same ^G3668 as ^G2531 in the days ^G2250 of Lot ^G3091—they were eating ^G2068, they were drinking ^G4095, they were buying ^G59, they were selling ^G4453, they were planting ^G5452, they were building ^G3618; 29 but on the day ^G2250 that Lot ^G3091 went ^G1831 out ^G1831 from Sodom ^G4670 it rained ^G1026 fire ^G4442 and [fn]brimstone ^G2303 from heaven ^G3772 and destroyed ^G622 them all ^G3956. 30 It will be [fn]just ^G2596 the same ^G846 on the day ^G2250 that the Son ^G5207 of Man ^G444 is revealed ^G601. 31 On that day ^G2250, the one who ^G3739 is on the housetop ^G1430 and whose ^G846 goods ^G4632 are in the house ^G3614 must not go ^G2597 down ^G2597 to take ^G142 them out ^G2597, and likewise ^G3668 the one who ^G3739 is in ^G68 the ^G68 field ^G68 must not turn ^G1994 back ^G3694 G1994. 32 Remember ^G3421 Lot’s ^G3091 wife ^G1135. 33 Whoever ^G3739 G1437 seeks ^G2212 to keep ^G4046 his [fn]life ^G5590 will lose ^G622 it, and whoever ^G3739 G302 loses ^G622 his life will preserve ^G2225 it. 34 I tell ^G3004 you, on that night ^G3571 there will be two ^G1417 in one ^G1520 bed ^G2825; one ^G1520 will be taken ^G3880 and the other ^G2087 will be left ^G863. 35 There will be two ^G1417 women grinding ^G229 grain at the same ^G846 place; one ^G1520 will be taken ^G3880 and the other ^G2087 will be left ^G863. 36 [fn][Two ^G1417 men ^G1417 will be in ^G68 the ^G68 field ^G68; one ^G1520 will be taken ^G3880 and the other ^G2087 will be left ^G863.”] 37 And answering ^G611 they *said ^G3004 to Him, “Where ^G4226, Lord ^G2962?” And He said ^G3004 to them, “Where ^G3699 the body ^G4983 is, there ^G1563 also ^G2532 the [fn]vultures ^G105 will be gathered ^G1996.”
