Delight Yourself in Yahweh

2 For they will wither ^H4448 quickly ^H4120 like the grass ^H2682

And He will give ^H5414 you the desires ^H4862 of your heart ^H3820.

Trust ^H982 in Him, and He will do ^H6213 it.

Do not fret ^H2734 because of him who prospers ^H6743 in his way ^H1870,

8 Cease ^H7503 from anger ^H639 and forsake ^H5800 wrath ^H2534;

Do not fret ^H2734; it leads only ^H389 to evildoing ^H7489.

9 For evildoers ^H7489 will be cut ^H3772 off ^H3772,

But those who hope ^H6960 for Yahweh ^H3068, they will inherit ^H3423 the land ^H776.

10 Yet ^H5750 a little ^H4592 while ^H4592 and the wicked ^H7563 man ^H7563 will be no ^H369 more ^H369;

You will look ^H995 carefully ^H995 at his place ^H4725, and he will not ^H369 be there.

11 But the lowly ^H6035 will inherit ^H3423 the land ^H776

And will delight ^H6026 themselves in abundant ^H7230 peace ^H7965.

And gnashes ^H2786 at him with his teeth ^H8127.

13 The Lord ^H136 laughs ^H7832 at him,

For He sees ^H7200 that ^H3587 his day ^H3117 is coming ^H935.

14 The wicked ^H7563 have drawn ^H6605 the sword ^H2719 and bent ^H1869 their bow ^H7198

To cast ^H5307 down ^H5307 the afflicted ^H6041 and the needy ^H34,

To slay ^H2873 those who are upright ^H3477 in conduct ^H1870.

15 Their sword ^H2719 will enter ^H935 their own heart ^H3820,

And their inheritance ^H5159 will be forever ^H5769.

But the righteous ^H6662 is gracious ^H2603 and gives ^H5414.

But those cursed ^H7043 by Him will be cut ^H3772 off ^H3772.

And He delights ^H2654 in his way ^H1870.

Yet I have not seen ^H7200 the righteous ^H6662 forsaken ^H5800

Or his seed ^H2233 begging ^H1245 bread ^H3899.

26 All ^H3605 day ^H3117 long he is gracious ^H2603 and lends ^H3867,

And his seed ^H2233 is a blessing ^H1293.

37 Observe ^H8104 the [fn]blameless ^H8535 man ^H8535, and behold ^H7200 the upright ^H3477;

For the man ^H376 of peace ^H7965 will have [fn]a posterity ^H319.

38 But transgressors ^H6586 will be altogether ^H3162 destroyed ^H8045;

The [fn]posterity ^H319 of the wicked ^H7563 will be cut ^H3772 off ^H3772.

39 But the salvation ^H8668 of the righteous ^H6662 is from Yahweh ^H3068;

He is their strength ^H4581 in time ^H6256 of distress ^H6869.

40 Yahweh ^H3068 helps ^H5826 them and protects ^H6403 them;

He protects ^H6403 them from the wicked ^H7563 and saves ^H3467 them,

Because ^H3588 they take ^H2620 refuge ^H2620 in Him.
