Yahweh Will Redeem Judah and Israel

1 Ask ^H7592 rain ^H4306 from Yahweh ^H3068 at the time ^H6256 of the [fn]late ^H4456 rain ^H4456—

Yahweh ^H3068 who makes ^H6213 the [fn]storm ^H2385 clouds ^H2385;

And He will give ^H5414 them showers ^H4306 of rain ^H1653, the plant ^H6212 in the field ^H7704 to each man ^H376.

2 For the teraphim ^H8655 speak ^H1696 wickedness ^H205,

And the diviners ^H7080 behold ^H2372 [fn]false ^H8267 visions ^H8267

And speak ^H1696 worthless ^H7723 dreams ^H2472;

They comfort ^H5162 in ^H1892 vain ^H1892.

Therefore ^H5921 H3651 the people journey ^H5265 like ^H3644 sheep ^H6629;

4 “From [fn]them will come ^H3318 the cornerstone ^H6438,

From [fn]them the tent ^H3489 peg ^H3489,

From [fn]them the bow ^H7198 of [fn]battle ^H4421,

From [fn]them every ^H3605 good [fn]taskmaster ^H5065, all of them together ^H3162.

5 “And they will be as mighty ^H1368 men ^H1368,

Treading ^H947 down ^H947 the enemy in the mire ^H2916 of the streets ^H2351 in battle ^H4421;

And they will battle ^H3898, for Yahweh ^H3068 will be with them;

7 “And Ephraim ^H669 will be like a mighty ^H1368 man ^H1368,

12 “And I will make them mighty ^H1396 in Yahweh ^H3068,

And in His name ^H8034 they will walk ^H1980,” declares ^H5002 Yahweh ^H3068.
