Easton's Bible Dictionary

Tabret:

(Heb. toph), a timbrel (q.v.) or tambourine, generally played by women (Gen 31:27; 1Sa 10:5; 18:6). In Job 17:6 the word (Heb. topheth) "tabret" should be, as in the Revised Version, "an open abhorring" (marg., "one in whose face they spit; " lit., "a spitting in the face").

King James Dictionary

Tabret: Tambourine.

Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them! And the harp, and the viol, the TABRET, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands. (Isaiah 5:11-12)
