grammatically the feminine of platus, "broad," is used as a noun (hodos, "a way," being understood, i.e., "a broad way"), "a street," Mat 6:5; 12:19 (in some texts, Mar 6:56); Luk 10:10; 13:26; 14:21; Act 5:15; Rev 11:8; 21:21; 22:2.
