Below are articles from the following dictionary:
Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words
1 Strong's Number: g1299 Greek: diatasso

Command (Verbs):

signifies "to set in order, appoint, command," Mat 11:1; Luk 8:55; 17:9, 10; Act 18:2; 23:31; "gave order," 1Cr 16:1, RV. So in Act 24:23, where it is in the Middle Voice.
See APPOINT, No. 6.

2 Strong's Number: g2036 Greek: epo

Command (Verbs):

denotes "to speak" (connected with eipon, "to say"); hence, among various renderings, "to bid, command," Mat 4:3; Mar 5:43; 8:7; Luk 4:3; 19:15.
See BID.

Note: In 2Cr 4:6, the RV rightly has "said," followed by the quotation "Light shall shine out of darkness."

3 Strong's Number: g1781 Greek: entello

Command (Verbs):

signifies "to enjoin upon, to charge with;" it is used in the Middle Voice in the sense of commanding, Mat 19:7; 28:20; Mar 10:3; 13:34; Jhn 8:5; 15:14, 17; Act 13:47; Hbr 9:20; 11:22, "gave commandment."
See CHARGE, ENJOIN.

4 Strong's Number: g2004 Greek: epitasso

Command (Verbs):

signifies to appoint over, put in charge (epi, "over," tasso, "to appoint"); then, "to put upon one as a duty, to enjoin," Mar 1:27; 6:27, 39; 9:25; Luk 4:36; 8:25, 31; 14:22; Act 23:2; Phm 1:8.
See CHARGE, ENJOIN.

5 Strong's Number: g2753 Greek: keleuo

Command (Verbs):

"to urge, incite, order," suggests a stronger injunction than No. 6, Mat 14:9, 19; 15:35; 18:25; 27:58, 64; Luk 18:40; Act 4:15 (frequently in Acts, not subsequently in the NT).
See BID.

6 Strong's Number: g3853 Greek: parangello

Command (Verbs):

"to announce beside" (para, "beside," angello, "to announce"), "to pass on an announcement," hence denotes "to give the word, order, give a charge, command," e.g., Mar 6:8; Luk 8:29; 9:21; Act 5:28; 2Th 3:4, 6, 10, 12.
See CHARGE, B, No. 8.

7 Strong's Number: g4367 Greek: prostasso

Command (Verbs):

denotes "to arrange or set in order towards" (pros, "towards," tasso, "to arrange"); hence "to prescribe, give command," Mat 1:24; 8:4; Mar 1:44; Luk 5:14; Act 10:33, 48. For Mat 21:6 see Note (3) below.
See BID.

Notes:

(1) In Rev 9:4, rheo, "to speak," is translated "said" in the RV (AV, "commanded").

(2) in Hbr 12:20 diastellomai, "to charge, enjoin" (so in the RV), is rendered "commanded" in the AV.

(3) in Mat 21:6, the RV, translating suntasso, as in the best mss., has "appointed," AV, "commanded."
