Tychicus:
(fateful) and Troph'imus (nutritious) companions of St. Paul on some of his journeys, are mentioned as natives of Asia (Acts 20:4; 21:29; 2 Timothy 4:20). (A.D. 54‐64) There is much probability in the conjecture that Tychicus and Trophimus were the two brethren who were associated with Titus (2 Corinthians 8:16-24) in conducting the business of the collection for the poor Christians in Judea.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
